What is it? A tool to remove the stem from a head of lettuce.

This is a very simple and straightforward product. It’s a plastic tool with a cylindrical opening on one end with slightly serrated edges, and a half-circle end on the other end, also with serrated edges.

The round end is used to go over the base stem on a head of lettuce, and with a turning action, to cut it out and remove it from the remaining leaves.

The half-circle end can be used on larger stems, or as a general cutting tool to separate the leaves from the stem.

We observed this to be an easy to use and handy gadget, and to work as advertised.
