 What is it? A stand for books, laptop computers and other items.
This is a multipurpose plastic stand that supports many items. It has five incremental setting of angles that the stand offers. We evaluated it using a book, a laptop computer, and a cooking magazine with a recipe, and found it easy to use and worked fine.
It offers two elastic bands near the base of the upper surface that holds whatever you’re using it for secure. So whether you’re using for a bookstand, laptop stand, music stand, recipe stand, etc., this product appears very handy for a multitude of applications.
One specific application that the packaging recommends, is to use it specifically to keep a laptop computer up off of your legs, in the context of avoiding the heat generated from laptop batteries and exhaust fans. It could also help position a keyboard in a more comfortable position for your hands.
We could also envision it used as a portable lectern, a conductor’s stand, or a presentation stand for posters, flyers, etc. With just about any need for a small stand you can imagine, this product could be a potential solution.
We observed it to work as advertised.
