| | | ASOTVI RATING: DOES NOT WORK |
What is it? An electric razor.
This product was very disappointing. From its first and foremost claim of being small, thin, portable, and great for travel, etc.—all of which is true—that doesn’t compensate for the fact that it is an extremely poor shaver.
Its primary design problem stems from the fact that the “flexible micro thin foil” screen over the blade has very, very small holes in it. In our evaluation, these holes were observed to be too small to allow anything but very small hairs pointing straight up to penetrate it and therefore be exposed to the cutting blade beneath. And even that seemed to be a very random occurrence, regardless of shaving angle, amount of pressure applied, etc. The end result was a wee bit of whiskers cut, but skin still badly in need of a shave. See the video for demonstration.
While this product is indeed very compact in size, since it is called a “shaver” it is therefore reasonable to expect that its primary purpose is to produce an effective shave. It simply doesn’t do that. And for that reason we find this product not to work as advertised.
